Summary of Role
In this Sourcer role, you’ll play a critical role on our Talent Acquisition team by building and maintaining strong talent pools for hiring efforts across the company. These positions range from customer service, field workers, and IT positions to solar industry experts and sales professionals. Using your creative sourcing and interviewing skills, you will research relevant talent pools, network with passive candidates, and help influence well-qualified, diverse hires. We operate as partners in our own team to the business, so you’ll often rely on your sharp business acumen to work closely with our hiring teams and leaders across the company to hone in on top talent.
In this Sourcer position, you will:
- Leverage a variety of sourcing methods, techniques, and technologies, including social media and Boolean search, to scan through publicly accessible databases and code repositories
- Proactively source candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- Deliver top-notch customer service to active and passive candidates. Each person you interact with, regardless of them being hired, should walk away with a positive Palmetto experience.
- Actively maintain candidate pipelines with communication campaigns and outreach, keeping top talent ‘warm’ while hiring decisions are made.
- Conduct in-depth candidate screens to assess level of interest, qualifications, and compensation requirements.
- Collaborate within the TA team and broader HR department on Talent Acquisition related initiatives and projects. For example, tech assessments and implementations, interview training, and talent market research.
- Provide consultative and strategic partnership to the Talent Acquisition team, HR team members, and hiring partners as you work with them to fill their positions with top-qualified talent.
- Explore and utilize a variety of methods and tools to fill pipeline positions. This can include running hiring events, networking with industry professionals, alternative sourcing tools, and branding.
- Manage full cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 4+ years experience with building and implementing diverse sourcing strategies for talent in multiple industries and position types.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, experience in multi-tasking and consistently delivering results. Working on multiple searches and projects should be the norm.
- Proficiency or the ability to adapt quickly to various software applications and tools, such as Google Suite, Zoom, LinkedIn, Indeed, ATS systems, Trello, Calendly, etc.
- Ability to be successfully self-organized and self-directed. We work in a remote environment with a growing company.
