Position Overview
The position will be responsible for bridging the technical organization to various other business organizations that need technical support, such as help with urgent technical issues in the field, regulatory or certification support, marketing insights, etc.
The candidate will get an intensive training in Hanwha Qcells’ Global R&D center in Germany.
This position reports to the Head of Technical Services & Solutions.
This role is remote with travel.
Responsibilities
- Technical support of Energy Solutions business for residential, C&I and utility scale customers (pre-sales to after-sales).
- Review, analysis and explanation of internal and external test reports to test labs and customers.
- Support the process of product launch activities (preparation of technical documents and publications, customer and sales training and webinars).
- Close cooperation with the Product Management, R&D, production sites and QM teams in USA, Germany and Korea.
- Collect market insights and trends and develop new ideas for our products to differentiate our products in the market.
- Technical support of special projects for new products and marketing activities.
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in an engineering discipline or similar technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of technical work experience as an Engineer.
- Excellent ability to communicate among R&D, QM, sales, both internally and outside the company.
- Organized, detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with and across all global resources (Korea, Europe, US).
- Willingness to travel up to 20% domestic and international.
Preferred qualifications
- Deep technical understanding of solar cell, module and system technology.
- Experience in laboratory experiments and experimental method development .
- Experience in accelerated life testing and Failure mode analysis preferred.
- Oral and written proficiency in German or Korean.
