Data helps us understand who’s on the team, interpret details about their experience, and determine optimal people programs and solutions.
Twelve is looking for a Senior People Data Analytics professional to join our People Team. We are seeking a team focused, insightful People Analyst who cares about climate and cares about people! The People Team is passionate about facilitating and enriching a purposeful work experience for all team members.
What you will do
In this role, you will be connecting talent, people, and data while reporting to the Director of People. The actions we take due to insightful data analyses make a huge difference on our path to fulfilling our mission to create a fossil-free future. You will be partnering with leaders across the People Team to design and iterate upon data collection processes, interpret People data, analyze results, and create data visualizations. Your work will help the People Team determine ROI (Return on Investment) against new programs, identify areas for improvement, and highlight areas in which new programs are necessary.
- Partner closely with the People Team to tell the story of employee experience, program effectiveness, employee demographic diversity, and more through data. Support data initiatives across People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging).
- Routinely perform quantitative and qualitative analyses on data across multiple People systems, including but not limited to: HRIS (human resources information systems) (Zenefits), performance management systems (Leapsome), Employee Engagement (Leapsome), Learning Management System (tbd), Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse), Candidate Relationship Management (Gem + hireEZ), and surveying platforms (GForms).
- Develop and implement data analyses/collection systems while tracking data such as employee headcount, team growth, workforce diversity, and veteran status.
- Maximize efficient operations by interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques.
- Be the data expert on the People Team while partnering with People leaders on data analytics & and visualization.
- Leverage People data to tell informative and insightful stories as a means of iteration and optimization.
- Design and build data visualization dashboards, which enable people and workforce insights at scale.
Who you are
- You have a professional certification, bachelor’s, masters, or aligned experience in a relevant field (i.e. Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Development, etc.)
- You’re no stranger to People-people. We’re wonderfully thoughtful about human experience, and less skilled on the numbers. You’ve got experience connecting the two.
- You have in-house experience partnering with a Talent and/or People Team. You are a masterful storyteller! You understand the importance of letting the data dictate your narrative, and are skilled at building the visualizations to drive enlightenment.
- You have demonstrated expertise in data analytics, which includes proficiency in data visualization, analysis and reporting.
- You are an expert in at least one business intelligence platform (such as Tableau or Power BI), and you’re excited about learning others.
- You have experience collaborating with data architects.
- You can explain system requirements and articulate data staging for visualizations.
- You are familiar with various People Management systems (ATS, HRIS, LMS, and CRM).
- You have an inquisitive mind. You’re excited about finding data as an answer to the unknown.
