Summary of Role
This 100% remote position will be critical to the success of our accounting function. This role will be responsible for cash application to open accounts receivable balances as well as preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations. This role will also assist with monthly account analysis for financial reporting. We are looking for someone with a strong accounting background, and a keen eye for detail, who is excited to make an impact, add value, and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced, ever-growing environment.

Strategic & Tactical
- Manage all aspects of ongoing contractual invoicing, one-time fees, monthly subscriptions, and other transactional revenue
- Accept responsibility for new revenue streams as they are introduced
- Daily cash application and customer account reconciliation
- Book and reconcile all transaction revenue each month by work day 3
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the revenue accounting close on a monthly basis
- Maintains general ledger by reconciling accounts and posting adjusting journal entries
- Work with external auditors to support the quarterly reviews and annual audit requirements
- Partner with Technical Accounting to ensure compliance with revenue recognition under ASC 606 and other accounting policies
- Support organizational revenue forecasting, providing insights on revenue accounting impacts
- Providing support as the subject matter expert for the order to cash process
- Lead process improvements surrounding the month-end revenue accounting close
- Various special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned
- Recommend solutions and/or automation projects for scalability and productivity improvements

Qualifications
- CPA required
- Salesforce and NetSuite experience required
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 5 years of combined relevant accounting experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Works well under pressure and is able to collaborate across departments in a remote environment
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
