As the Plant Trial Coordinator, you have extensive knowledge and expertise in agricultural product testing, with a deep understanding of* crop plants' needs and their interactions with various microbial strains* in different soil and climate conditions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing testing protocols, monitoring the execution and effectiveness of CRO’s trial plans, and conducting statistical analysis and interpret trial results to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
On a regular day, you will partner with the Assistant Director of Product Management to conduct agricultural product testing in various soil and climate conditions, recommend application protocols for different crops for commercial field and greenhouse trials. You will coordinate with our internal teams to identify areas for improvement in product testing, as well as with external collaborators (outsourced trials/research as CROs) to maintain accurate records and documentation ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition, you will create trial schedules and ensure adherence to timelines, and provide regular updates including detailed reports and presentations summarizing trial findings, recommendations, and implications to stakeholders.
To thrive in this role, you have strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional parties. Your organizational skills and attention to detail are excellent to manage multiple trials simultaneously. You have existing relationships with growers and CROs in various states and understand safety and regulatory requirements associated with shipping and applying microbial products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Plant Science, Biology, or a related field with 2-3 years of experience in coordinating and conducting plant trials or research projects.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as R and Prism.
- 1-2 years’ experience in experimental design and statistical analysis.
- Experience working in a commercial or research horticulture or agriculture setting.
- 25% Travel throughout United States is required.
*Preference will be given to individuals located in California, Arizona, Florida, or Texas.

$60,000 - $70,000
