What we are looking for:
The e-Mobility Partnerships Manager will join the dynamic e-Mobility team and contribute as a founding member of this core and growing initiative at Stem. Your contributions will shape and accelerate the eMobility team’s trajectory through identifying, structuring and managing strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities include:
1) Develop and maintain a market architecture overview for the rapidly evolving landscape of EV’s and EV charging. This will include charging network software providers, EV OEMs, charging equipment OEMs, and other market leaders in the EVSE and EV OEM space
2) Contribute to the eMobility strategy development with an emphasis on going faster through partnerships
3) Prioritize and develop partnerships in support of 6, 12, and 18-month roadmap
Champion partner-based offerings for Stem’s internal product roadmap development
4) Manage the success of Stem’s partnerships, including supporting near-term goal attainment such as pursuit of joint opportunities, and long-term goal attainment including the development of new joint offerings
5) Quantify the impact of Stem’s key strategic partners in eMobility. Model potential outcomes and present risk-reward based recommendations around offerings, partnerships and go-to-market strategies to senior leadership.
Requirements:
● 4-6 years minimum experience in the EV industry, in EV charging, EV network software, or at an EV OEM
● Demonstrated success in a prior role that required both technical and business acumen within the EV, EV charging or clean energy industry.
● Fluency with the EV industry, EV OEMs, CMS software platforms, quantitative modeling skills, and corporate partnership structures
● Experience with distributed energy resources, familiarity with electric utility tariffs and renewable energy project modeling are a plus
● Model work ethic and mission-driven / passionate about working in clean energy
● BA/BS required in Engineering, Finance or other technical field, advanced degree preferred
