Summary of Role
The Installation Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with build partners in their market through strict accountability on quality & safety standards, while also driving lower build costs and better customer experience. They are responsible for ownership of scheduling with the build members and inspections to completion. Additional responsibilities include managing complex projects and supporting customer service needs as needed. This role is based in California.

Strategic & Tactical
- Maintain the highest standards of product quality and customer experience through build partner accountability
- Support National Permit Manager to drive SLAs and develop innovative strategies for standardization and automation
- Support the Policy & Commercialization team on Authority Having Jurisdiction Database development and maintenance
- Support third-party providers in survey, permit, installation, and inspection processes
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to ensure rigorous resource productivity with the Build Partner network
- Drive interdepartmental collaboration to identify and resolve issues in the market’s project pipeline
- Assist in identifying and supporting new sales partners for market expansion and high-sales customer experience
- Support Build Partner Manager in the recruitment of build members

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in project management within a construction company, ideally within clean energy firms
- Past leadership over crews and subcontractors that produce high-volume/quality installations
- Experience in sourcing, scheduling, and approving build partners for installations
- Pricing negotiations with build partners and approval of invoices and project budgets
- Experience in reviewing plans, permits and installation reports, and photos for quality JCO (job closeout), past actual installation or inspection experience is highly desirable
- CA Electrical License a plus
