Home Advisor Manager
SPAN is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Advisor Manager to join our team. As a Home Advisor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of your team as they educate and qualify prospective customers for SPAN installations. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and scaling the Lead Pass Program for SPAN’s Installer channel. The position will report to the Manager, Inside Sales.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 8-10 Home Advisors to meet and exceed individual and team targets for lead qualification, conversion, and customer satisfaction
- Coach and mentor Home Advisors on their performance, providing regular feedback and setting expectations for success
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, sales leadership, and installation partners
- Perform data-driven analysis to glean insights, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and implement process improvements
- Manage team performance metrics, regularly reporting on progress and making recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and operations to drive alignment on sales strategies and execution
- Participate in the hiring process for new Home Advisors, evaluating candidates and making hiring recommendations
- Develop and implement training programs to support Home Advisor development and ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in their role

You are a seasoned sales leader with a passion for coaching and developing others, and have a proven track record of successfully managing high-performing teams. A problem-solver at heart, you tenaciously advocate for positive business outcomes for all stakeholders. You are analytical and data-driven, with the ability to use metrics to drive process improvement and make informed decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in managing and leading teams
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and use metrics to drive team performance
- Proficiency with email, Google suite, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- A passion for growth and excitement about joining a rapidly growing ClimateTech startup
- Dedicated to the SPAN mission of enabling electrification for all
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working in a call center or inside sales environment
- Experience selling home upgrades, especially smart home, solar/storage, and/or other electrification technologies
- Familiarity with smart home technology, solar/storage, and/or other electrification technologies
- A working understanding of home remodels, retrofits, and upgrades
