Chief of Staff & RevOps Manager
The Revenue team owns all customer-facing activities through the revenue lifecycle, including Marketing, Prospecting, Sales, Technical Sales, and Customer Success, as well as nascent Solutions and Partnerships teams. It is the engine that drives commercial growth for our rapidly scaling company, all rolling up to our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
About the Role
The Chief of Staff is a critical member of the Revenue team and plays a key role in supporting the CRO in achieving their goals and owning all operations, process, and systems across the team. In the role, you will be:
• Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, helping to set and drive his agenda
• Ensuring that the trains run on time, while CRO priorities and tasks are delivered
• Providing strategic and operational support to the CRO, including organizational design, planning, and budgeting
• Driving performance across the Revenue team and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Owning all revenue processes and systems, while managing a Revenue Systems Admin
• Serving as a liaison between the CRO and other functional leaders, including Marketing, Prospecting, Sales, Technical Sales & Solutions, and Customer Success
• Identifying and driving strategic projects that accelerate revenue
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will be data-driven, with a knack for process optimization, and thrive on bringing order to the chaos of a scaling startup. You will have:
• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, with management consulting experience a plus
• Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools is a MUST
• Experience in a technology or SaaS sales/commercial organization
• Proven track record of success engaging executives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to de-escalate situations and get multiple stakeholders to commit to a path forward
• Interest in electricity and decarbonization (experience with power and utilities is a plus)
• Remote, but based in the US, supporting CRO based in Seattle, working Houston+ hours.
