Organic chemist will focus on various bio-based monomers production and purification including main building blocks of nylon66.
Main duties of the prospective candidate will be:
- organic monomers and polymers synthesis;
- organic monomers purification from the biocatalytic reaction mix;
- chemical analysis (GPC/SEC, FT-IR, DSC, TGA, NMR, GC-FID/MS) and instrument maintenance;
Minimum requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in Chemistry (completed) or M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with 1-5+ years of industrial experience;
- Experienced and creative organic chemist with an understanding the principles of Green Chemistry;
- Experience with downstream processing and purification of carboxylic acids;
- Experience with biobased polymers, polymer chemistry or epoxy resins;
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within fast-moving start-up;
